Cake Topper Settings

Configure the image relief, backing, depth curve, and pin of a cake topper.

These controls appear only for the Cake Topper type.

Uploaded image

Use uploaded image includes or removes the traced image relief. Turn it off to create a text-only topper with Name Plate settings.

Backing offset

Backing offset adds material around the image relief so thin or disconnected details join a printable base. The default is 5 mm.

Base height

Base height controls the thickness shared by the image backing, name plate, and pin connection. The default is 5 mm.

Image relief height

Image relief height sets how far the uploaded design rises above the backing. The default is 5 mm.

Depth curve

Choose Flat, Dome, Round, or Chamfer. Non-flat curves also expose direction and whether the curve targets holes, fills, or both. Curve inset controls the horizontal distance used by Dome and Chamfer curves; Round derives its radius from relief height.

Depth curves are a Premium setting and may be limited by the available relief height. Cookiecad displays a warning when it must clamp the result.

Invert relief

Invert raises the background instead of the traced image. It is a Premium setting and is disabled while a non-flat depth curve is active.

Pin dimensions

Length of the pin sets how far the pin extends below the topper. Width of the pin controls its horizontal thickness. The defaults are 50 mm long and 5 mm wide.

Pin position

Move the pin horizontally from -100% to 100%. Cookiecad automatically solves its vertical connection against the finished backing. The default is centered at 0%.
