Stamp Grip Settings
Add, connect, position, and size a reusable stamp grip.
Stamp Grip settings appear for Stamp, Cutter + Stamp, and Cake Pop Mold. Cake Pop Mold always uses the grip settings for its plunger, so the enable switch is locked on that type.
Enable the grip
Add stamp grip adds the connection and grip geometry. It is off by default for Stamp and Cutter + Stamp.
Connection type
- Threaded creates a threaded socket and matching grip.
- Glue chamfer creates a tapered connection intended to be glued.
Threaded is the default. Cake Pop Mold may lock the connection controls required by its generated plunger.
Position
Auto places the connection automatically. Manual enables X and Y positions from 0% to 100% across the stamp bounds. Auto is the default; manual coordinates default to 50%, 50%.
Connection depth
Threaded socket depth controls the threaded opening and defaults to 4 mm. Glue chamfer depth controls the tapered glued opening and defaults to 2 mm. Cookiecad warns when the chosen back thickness cannot contain the requested depth.
Clearance
Clearance adds space between mating connection surfaces. The default is 0.2 mm. Adjust it for your printer and material if the connection is too tight or loose.
Socket diameter
Socket diameter controls the width of the connection. The default is 15 mm. The displayed label changes to match the selected connection type.
Grip dimensions
Grip height and Grip diameter default to 35 mm and 15 mm. Grip bottom rounding softens the lower edge and defaults to 4 mm.
